leinatorz (9:21:59 PM): dude, did you ban me on HTLOZ?
leinatorz (9:22:03 PM): what the hell? Aixsyd (9:24:23 PM): you should all be very proud of yourselves leinatorz (9:24:31 PM): You've completely bastardized the music industry, not to mention abusing your mod powers to ban someone who's been an HTLOZer for two years Aixsyd (9:25:15 PM): get your facts right before you make insane claims. leinatorz (9:25:07 PM): Either way, you banned me. leinatorz (9:25:49 PM): And unless you can provide a valid argument that you didn't do this shit they're claiming your did, I'm going to post a very long commentary on ZeldaBlog about this whole situation, and trust me, it won't be pretty. Aixsyd (9:26:30 PM): go for it leinatorz (9:26:33 PM): I don't want to go for it, I'm not publishing a story without hearing both sides Aixsyd (9:27:09 PM): you obviously dont want to hear mine Aixsyd (9:27:37 PM): youve all went to insane lengths to discredit me enough leinatorz (9:27:15 PM): If you want to redeem yourself, now's your chance. ZB gets thousands of viewers weekly, if you can give me your side, you could potentially clear your name. leinatorz (9:28:04 PM): Well, apparently several of your songs perfectly match a few other people's mixes, that's a hell of a lot of a case against your right there. leinatorz (9:28:24 PM): and then there's your pirated sample libraries leinatorz (9:28:30 PM): but if you can explain it Aixsyd (9:28:58 PM): two things to disproove that claim. you cant copy a copy of someones song. I do believe Koji wrote those songs leinatorz (9:28:35 PM): I'll include your side in teh article leinatorz (9:29:01 PM): Ah, but doing a cover of a song is completely legal, and the person who did said cover has copyright claims over his mix Aixsyd (9:29:33 PM): no they dont leinatorz (9:29:14 PM): just like oasis and all their beatles remixes leinatorz (9:30:39 PM): you have no right to simply take a remix and overlay your samples onto it, it's obviously pirating leinatorz (9:31:16 PM): And whether or not it's illegal, I'm questioning your musical talent at this point if you can't even create a midi remix of a video game soung. Aixsyd (9:31:43 PM): consider when i made Sacred grove, before The hylia had recordings of the soundtrack. use of ones MIDI as a guide is not lifting leinatorz (9:31:19 PM): *song leinatorz (9:32:02 PM): yes, it is. someone else put work into said MIDI, it's their property. Aixsyd (9:32:38 PM): go read a law book -- its not leinatorz (9:32:28 PM): have you read a law book fire? Aixsyd (9:32:54 PM): its the same reason i didnt sell my music leinatorz (9:32:32 PM): I highly doubt it leinatorz (9:32:42 PM): I've read the entire copyright act. leinatorz (9:32:45 PM): the whole fucking thing leinatorz (9:32:52 PM): I had to for a debate on pirating Aixsyd (9:33:19 PM): by your logic, anyone could sell Zelda MIDIs for profit leinatorz (9:33:00 PM): you sir, violated copyright leinatorz (9:33:22 PM): yep, just like when a band does a cover song of an older band and sells it on their CD Aixsyd (9:34:01 PM): heh, go try to sell some Zelda MIDIs Aixsyd (9:34:05 PM): seriously, go try Aixsyd (9:35:19 PM): anyway, to be honest, i dont care what you post Aixsyd (9:35:21 PM): im done leinatorz (9:35:12 PM): I don't want too, this isn't a question of money, it's a question of morality and musical right leinatorz (9:35:25 PM): you have no right to call yourself a musician |

I did use that guys midi as a guide for sacred grove. I used it when there was no recordings of it online, and I didn't know the tempo or key of the song. Sorry for not replaying the game to that point, and listen for hours to that song because I was on a deadline for the reopening of the site. Sorry.

Well, sure. Ive used other peoples MIDI's as guides too. Theres no law against that. Wanna troll my hard drives for the work that I DID? None of you even care to ask for my side, before siding with people making claims.
Yes, I used MIDIs found online as guides. 99% of these MIDI's are unusable for my needs. People group sections and parts together as single tracks, which I cannot use. Notes are wrong, Tempos, keys and parts are wrong. Songs are too short. I remake every MIDI I use as guides. |
