Mysteries of
Zelda Ocarina of Time:

The Triforce
Weeks after "ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME" was launched a rumor begun to spread like wildfire; apparently the Tri-Force was hidden somewhere in the game, and Link was able to get it just as he did in some previous games of the series.
The problem was that suddenly many people started to claim that they have found this sacred relic, and each of them had their own version...
Here in HYRULE: The Land of Zelda, we investigated the most relevant Triforce cases. Here they are, for your pleasure.

The ARIANA A. case-
Probably the most incredible story about the Triforce on the net. Although this story and the pictures are the most impressive seen so far it was all a big lie. - Section Closed-

The BELGARATH case-

Another Lie. Nothing to add sorry. The creators of this lie confessed. - Section Closed-

More rumors

Other popular rumors about The Triforce. All of them proven false of course for lack of evidence. - Section Closed-

Triforce in Zelda: Ocarina of Time?
The answer is no. We were the only Zelda site to truly investigate the rumors about the Triforce. Click here to read our investigation on the Triforce mystery

Other mysteries

These are the FDM's (frequently discussed mysteries). And we are giving an answer to each of them. If you don't agree don't complain unless you have a solid argument against any of these answers.

Is this clear enough? Or should we say it in HYRULIAN?

UNSOLVED MYSTERIES:

These mysteries are still unsolved. E-mail Goldenboy 7 with your opinions.

-What about that hole in Darunia's ceiling?

-The stone bird at the Hyrule Castle's Gate. What is it for? Just a clock?

SOLVED MYSTERIES:

- What happens with the Tatoo in the magic beans seller?

Nothing, it's just a drawing composed by rectangles and squares just as any other hyrulian writting. (Impa also has tatooes and nobody says anything!, check signs to see simmilarities in writting)

-What about those triforce drawings all over hyrule?

Well, are you a religious person? then you know what I mean right?

-Can I get into the Castle Courtyard, past the guards after Zelda runs off?

Again with Gameshark, Zelda is still there and she says that you got the spiritual stone. (really wow, I ain't know that!) It's a game, it's a glitch, remember that. Don't force the game to do things that are not programmed.

- What about The Goron, Gerudo, and Zora's masks?

You know Nintendo, they're just for fun.

-Can you beat The Marathon Man?

According to Nintendo ...NO!

-The marathon runner says you need a Killer instinct to compete why?

Maybe because he is a "Black Orchid" Fan???

-What about The dancing couple?

They're in love and will get married next year, will you go to the wedding?

-Is Kaepora Gaebora the reincarnation of Rauru or the Deku Tree?

No he's not. He's just another character in the game with a mysterious past.
Get your own conclusions, the character appears in other Zelda games (See Link's Awakening) so what the heck! will this change your life? NO!!!

-The misterious flying carpet salesman in the haunted wasteland. What objective does he has for selling you a Bombchu?

This is an RPG, as in many other games you meet characters that have no purpose in the storyline. All the characters mentioned above are examples of that, you wanted people running, working, having fun, living in Hyrule? well you have some.

-What's the purpose of the Cucco at the top of the windmill?

Nothing, it's just plain cool to jump from there flying away.... (in other words, go up there, enjoy the view and fall slowly....)

-After you get everything, the arrow on the map points the Market or sometimes Kakariko Village, why?

It's a glitch, in newer revisions that never happens!!! so there!

-The dogs at night in the Market. They say that the dogs at night are dangerous. Why?

In the year 764 A.F (After Farore) a serious rabies attack infected the hyrulian puppies.
After that, people became affraid of the dogs for long long time...

-Can you melt Zora's Domain?

No you can't, they say that it will melt eventually, and in fact if you see the game ending you'll see that the Zoras are alive and that Zora's domain is unfrozen -case closed dammit!)

-What about the "cave" in Zora's Domain?

The cave is nothing, just a detail. There's nothing down there.

-What about the "temple" in the Haunted Wasteland?

That's a glitch, again confirmed by Nintendo.

-What is a horse doing in Gerudo Valley? Is this Ganondorf's horse? Is this the same horse that we see in Lon Lon ranch?

What do you think? Is it strange to see a horse in the archery game? NO! - In Gerudo valley, the horse is not the same as the one at Lon Lon Ranch. Pay attention and use your brain!

-What happens when you get 2000 points in the archery game?

Nothing, we did it several times and nothing happened, happy now?

-Is there any way possible to get into Gerudo Fortress as a kid?

Only using Gameshark. The fortress will be empty and useless.

- Why did the Gorons in Goron's City dissapeared?

Volvagia kidnapped them

-Is it possible to decompile a Zelda ROM to get clues about the Triforce?

Sure , if you don't have a life and have enough time in your hands to read the whole Zelda 64 program code and look through it in search of.... gimme a break man, that's IMPOSSIBLE!!! THE PEOPLE WHO SAYS THEY DID THIS ARE LIARS, or need a girlfriend ...and some sites even support these guys... (you see everything these days...)

-What about the screenshots you and other sites have about the japanese version? Is the japanese version different from the american one?

Those pics where released months and months ago before the game was launched, they are BETA screenshots, those things you see in the pics have been removed or have changed !!! The only difference between the american and the japanese version is the great fairies. In the japanese version they have an angelical look, in the american they look like modern sorceress (or whatever you think they look)
Go to Nintendo of japan to see the actual screenshots, and you'll see that the game is THE SAME.

http://www.nintendo.co.jp

-Why in the European Zelda 64 box there are some really strange screenshots?

They're BETA screenshots, because the boxes are usually made time before the game is finished. Believe me, I know what I'm saying. If you doubt me, why don't you check other games boxes? (Goldeneye for instance)

-What about the screenshots in the manual?

They made up that screenshot, that's not new.

-What about those screenshots I saw in ---- (american magazines), are they real?

NO, those are jokes, just as the ones we made with our Zelda 3 and L.A. intro screenshots. Just for fun! (You're not supposed to believe them ..GEEZ!!!!)

-What about the DD Zelda? Does it has the Triforce?

There's no DD Zelda!!!!!!! how can a game that doesn't exist held the Triforce???
Now I can see why on April 1st we received 124 emails from people that believed the
JOKE at NINTENDO!!!!! How can someone believe THAT??? give us a break...

-Did Miyamoto say anything about the Triforce?

He never mentioned the Triforce, he never told that poem, he never said "everybody overlooks it"

-Can Link get the triforces of power and wisdom besides the one of courage, that is, can he get the whole damn triforce?

Again? No.

I know that people love to investigate, search, discuss, think and believe everything related to Zelda, but it's high time we stop searching things that doesn't exist. Let's face it, there's nothing else to do in Zelda 64. Some people still believe that there's a huge secret hidden somewhere, well this is good, that means that you loved the game and didn't get enough of it...
