The not-so-classic Zelda
games
Here´s
a list of Zelda games that can´t be included into the classic
Zelda series made by Nintendo. This is because the games listed
in this page have been developed by other gaming companies under
the license of Nintendo, or have been developed by Nintendo themselves
but as an alternative to the classic Zelda series: remakes, or
just experiments that never succeeded.
The Legend
of Zelda
in a non-Nintendo console!
When Nintendo was planning
for a CD expansion for the Super Nintendo, they made plans with
both Philips and Sony. When Nintendo decided not to go with the
CD format, both other companies decided to go their own way.
For Sony this resulted in the Playstation (Ummm...) . Philips
made the CD-i, (Compact Disc interactive) which never succeeded.
However, with Nintendo they had some sort of deal which allowed
them to take Nintendo characters into a CD-i game. The reason
why there are three Zelda games on the CD-i. All the games were
not developed by Miyamoto or anyone else on Nintendo; they didn't
even influence the development.
The result was the next three games, and they are known as the
CD-i Zelda games:
Zelda: The
Wand of Gamelon
Link: Faces of
Evil
Zelda´s
Adventure
If you are still looking
forward to play these games we suggest that you think it twice.
The games are not really good, and they are no longer in the
market since the CD-i died long time ago. The CD-i ended as the
3DO, Jaguar, and many other gaming consoles did: In the trash
can.
The Legend
of Zelda goes sattelite!
The BS Zelda
The BS Zelda game was one of the Zelda
games that few people know about. Only "released"
in Japan, players actually never owned the game. They used
it through sattelite. That's right, sattelite. A
hookup to the Super Nintendo, called the Satalleview, would connect
to a channel aired in Japan, and would download games instead
of video!

Super Smash
Brothers
Nintendo's
fighting game starring everybody and... LINK!
Its time for Super Smash Brothers! Walkthrough
by me! (Ultima9999).
Although you probably don't need one, it's only right to provide
one for the losers, whiners, beggers, etc. The game has
no plot line; its a senseless brawl up to the end. This,
however is what makes it so fun. Be prepared, you'll become
a Smash Brothers expert once you read this.
The game starts out with good old Link...
