Zelda movie
Will we ever see Zelda in
the big screen?
At
the beginning of 1999, a Zelda site known as TGL (The Golden
Land http://tgl.simplenet.com) posted a huge article about a
Zelda Movie called "Prelude to Unity" which apparently
was in production in Australia. The person who send that info
is unknown by us since his/her personal data has been kept in
the dark. I talked to Charlie L. , webmaster of TGL about this,
but I finally decided to investigate on my own.
According to this unknown
person, the movie received the approval of Nintendo and even
Mr. Miyamoto. Therefore I waited no more and sent a letter to
Nintendo looking for information, official Information.
What Stephen
Scott from Nintendo of America told me was:
"We currently don't
have any plans to produce a Zelda for the big screen. If this
ever changes, you will be able to read about it on our web site
or in Nintendo Power magazine.
I admit, I would go see
a Zelda movie, but why watch when you can experience it yourself
when playing the game. Stay tuned to the web site to find out
all the latest Nintendo news."
What I can deduce of these
facts is:
No1- The rumors of a Zelda
movie as well as the articles posted in many sites are completelly
false.
No2- The "Prelude
to Unity" movie is another Gigantic Lie.
It could be amazing to see The Legend of Zelda
in the big screen, don´t you think?
A Zelda movie
script?
Another faked
rumor
Hey i got this
e-mail from a friend i know and he got it from a friend he believes
strongly that this may be part of the script to the Zelda movie
i know its long but its worth while now IM trying to contact
the person who claims this is part of the script to see if this
is fake if i find out the truth you guys will be the first to
know
ROGUE
Days Later
Rogue sent this:
Hey peeps I talked to the
person who came across this script and he confirms this is the
actual Zelda movie script!!Now if you guys find it a lie please
don't kill the messenger the guys screename is Rrtinnc so you
guys can talk to him one on one. Well, thats all the news so
far and yes I. Did try to get some more info but he didn't know
anymore so that's a drag. But anyway thats all folks!!!!!!!
And finally
this:
Hey people I just talked
to the person who really found the script and I would like to
honor her for going through all the trouble of finding this script...........PYRO
GYRL!!!!!! Please give her all the credit (she deserves it!)
she had to beg her relative in Hollywood to get this info all
she knows, is that they will probably begin casting in 2000 and
that Nintendo may team up with Lucasfilms or something like that.
Well, PYRO GYRL hopes you enjoy this info.
And now, a
letter from the person who found the script
Hello..my name is Ashley
(you can call me Ash) im also known as PYRO GYRL and i sent those
scripts to ROGUE986.. thank you for giving me credit on your
site i really appreciate it...anyway.. i am just writing you
this letter to remind you that while these scripts are the real
thing, there is still a big chance that the movies will not be
made..and i dont want this thing to turn into a whole other ARIANA
case with the threatening e-mails and the accusations that i'm
lying..the truth is..there is only a 50% chance that the Zelda
movies will be made(yes, there are two).. all we can do is keep
our fingers crossed..
anyway.. i'll try and keep you updated with any news i get of
the possible zelda movies..until then..keep your fingers crossed..it
would be a dream come true for every zelda fanatic so let's hope
for the best! seeya lata!

1 INT. PERSONAL LIBRARY - DAY
A bright light shines in the room through a large window in the
back wall. The rays of the light shine on a desk engrossed with
books scattered all over the top. On the left and right walls
are shelves of books that reach the ceiling and extend to the
back wall on both sides of the window. On the floor are more
books scattered throughout the room. All the books are thick
and solid colored with gold lettering on each of them.
After the camera finishes PANNING the room we move up towards
the top of the desk. The camera SLOWLY PUSHES IN on a book that
has a maroonish-red color to it and on the cover in gold letters
is the word Triforce. Under the title are three triangles put
together forming a larger triangle which are also in gold.
The book starts to open by itself and we pass about three pages
to the beginning of the story. When we get to the first page
of the story, the narrator will begin to speak. On the first
page, ( top half ) we see a large circle with sketches of the
continents and design of Hyrule. ( A world map )
NARRATOR
Every culture has such myths and theories about how their world
was created. In the world of Hyrule, legends say that the mythical
goddesses had as their chosen people, the Hylia. With their magic
infused blood, the Hylian people were endowed with psychic powers
and skilled in wizardry. Also, their long, pointed ears were
said to be able to hear special messages from the goddesses,
so they were held in high esteem by many people in Hyrule. These
ancient people left scrolls that are the primary source of how
Hyrule was created.
On the next page ( top half ) we see a picture which looks to
be hundreds of years old. It shows three similar female faces
appearing through the clouds, each with a different colored triangle
on their forehead. The first one is red, the middle one is green,
and the last one is blue. The three faces are blowing gusts of
wind onto the land.
NARRATOR
According to the Hylian scrolls, the mythical goddesses descended
from a distant nebula to an empty world and created order and
life. The goddess of power dyed the mountains red with fire and
created land. The goddess of wisdom created science and wizardry
and brought order to nature. And the goddess of courage, through
justice and vigor, created life. The animals that crawl the land
and the birds that soar in the sky. For years people were happy.
They roamed the world enjoying the peace and prosperity the goddesses
had given them, but as time passed, people began to question
their beliefs. Did mythical goddesses really create everything
they see? Did the goddesses even exist?
The page turns and we see, on the top half of the page, a front
view of the goddess of courage with the goddess of power one
step behind her on the left and the goddess of courage one step
behind her and on the right. We see them from the upper thigh
up. All three of them are forming a triangle with their hands.
Inside the hands of the goddess of courage is a green triangle.
In the left goddess' hands is a red triangle and a blue triangle
is in the hands of the right goddess.
NARRATOR
As a sign of their existence and strength, the three goddesses
each created a small but powerful symbol of which reflected their
own virtues. These three artifacts were to help guide the intelligent
life on the world of Hyrule. Each symbol was a small triangular
shaped object known as a triforce. Each triforce had the ability
to bestow one of three titles to whomever claimed it. The triforce
of power made its owner the Forger of Strength. The triforce
of wisdom made its owner the Keeper of Knowledge. And the triforce
of courage made its owner the Juror of Courage.
The page turns to the fourth page and we see another picture
on the top half. In the top center area of the page is a red
triangle and under it is the word power. Toward the bottom left
is a blue triangle and under it is the word wisdom. Opposite
of that on the right side of the page is a green triangle and
under it is the word courage.
NARRATOR
The three triforces were locked away in a sacred realm waiting
for someone worthy of these three titles to find them. When people
heard the rumor of the triforces and their powers, they regained
their belief in the goddesses. With faith restored, the three
goddesses left the world leaving the future of Hyrule to be decided
by its people.
The page turns and we see a picture of people fighting and blood
being spilled.
NARRATOR
As for the people, their lust for the triforces grew which later
led to greed and the spilling of blood. The stories of the triforces
were passed from generation to generation, but in their passing,
the lore was often distorted or lost all together.
The page turns again and we see a picture of people walking about
the village and in the background there are two men shaking hands.
NARRATOR
The people are now more peaceful and prosperity reigns over the
land once again. The triforces still remain in their hiding places
waiting for the right person to find them and claim the power
they contain.
The page turns for the last time and this time we see trees covering
the entire picture. As the narrator speaks, we slowly CLOSE IN
on the picture until it fills the entire FRAME. Then we dissolve
to real life trees that are identical to those that were in the
picture.
NARRATOR
And so our story begins in the lost woods of Hyrule, where a
gang of thieves searches for what everyone has yearned for for
thousands of years.
WE DISSOLVE / MATCH from the trees in the picture to the real
trees in the lost woods.
MATCH DISSOLVE:
2 EXT. LOST WOODS - NIGHT
As the camera sets on the trees, there is a short pause. Then
suddenly, we see the feet of horses running across the FRAME
from left to right behind the trees. After ALL NINE run by, we
see SEVERAL CAMERA ANGLES of the men traveling through the woods.
The man infront of everyone ( THIEF #2) comes to a halt and looks
around. The others catch up with him.
THIEF #1
Is this the place?
THIEF #2 Yeah, the entrance is somewhere around here.
Everyone dismounts from their horse. The leader of this gang
of thieves stands a good 7 feet tall. From behind, we can see
he wears a long, dark cape which covers his shoulders and his
hair is a dark red, like the color of blood. As we circle around
him, we see that he wears dark armor, he is dark skinned, and
on his right cheek is a long scar which appears to be from a
previous battle.
THIEF #3 ( GANON )
All right boys, start looking.
All of the thieves begin looking around the area their friend
showed them. Their leader stands by and watches them wander around
trees and kicking back leaves.
THIEF #2
UGHH! WHERE IS IT?
Thief #4 walks up a small hill.
THIEF #4
This is pointless. There's no entrance here. That whole story
about finding the temple was just a bunch of bull AHHH!
Before he could finish his sentence, thief #4 falls in a hole
and his voice grows more and more faint. Thief #2 turns his head
towards the hole thief #4 fell in.
THIEF #2
Oh, there it is.
All the thieves walk over to the hole and surround it in a circle.
Thief #2 looks over into the dark hole, then looks up at his
fellow thieves.
THIEF #2
Well.....who's first?
They all look at each other.
CUT TO:
3 EXT. HIDDEN VALLEY - NIGHT
As we view the exit of the hole, we here faint yells grow louder
until the thief pops out of the hole at a very fast speed. As
we PULL OUT from the hole, we see four thieves already standing
and observing the area while the thief that just got out of the
hole ( THIEF #7 ) gets up and walks to them.
GANON
Where's the temple?
We see a huge hill in the center of the area and in the background
we hear another thief yelling then popping out of the hole.
THIEF #5 ( O. S. )
Oww, my butt is killing me.
Thief #2 points to the hill in front of them.
THIEF #2
Right there.
Ganon grabs thief #2 by the shirt with both hands and lifts him
inches above the ground.
GANON
DON'T play games with me. That's just a hill.
THIEF #2
Appearances can be deceiving, but that's the temple. Over time,
grass and weeds have grown all around, but under it, its all
stone.
GANON You better be right.
In the background, we here thief #6 yelling then popping out
of the hole.
THIEF #6 ( O. S. )
UUGH...that's gonna leave a mark.
Seconds after thief #6 hits the ground, we see thief #7 yelling
then popping out of the hole, landing on thief #6.
THIEF #7
UUGH...well that didn't tickle.
THIEF #6
GET OFF ME!
THIEF #7
What's your problem?
THIEF #6
I told you to wait a little while after I jumped in the hole.
THIEF #7
Well my foot slipped and I fell in.
Thief #6 slaps thief #7 in the back of the head.
THIEF #7
OWW, WHY'D YOU DO THAT?
THIEF #6
It slipped.
Ganon turns around with a shocked look on his face seeing two
men bickering like children.
GANON
ENOUGH! Get on your feet, we've got work to do.
They all walk over to the hill and start tearing at the grass
and uncover stone.
GANON
So this is the place. Circle the temple, there's gotta be a door
around here somewhere.
The thieves begin circling the temple. Some tear away at the
grass and weeds looking for a sign while others slam the sides
of their fists on the stone to see if a door will push back.
We see Ganondorf tearing at the grass. He uncovers a mark in
the temple and removes all the grass around it to reveal the
entire picture. The marking is a picture of an eye with a tear
coming down the center and three triangles across the top.
GANONDORF
Sheikah?
Thief #9 tears away some grass and finds a circle, about 6 inches
in diameter, engraved in the stone. He places his index finger
in the engraved circle and runs his finger slowly along the engraved
path. After he goes completely around the circle, a yellow light
starts to appear to his left which is in the shape of a rectangle.
The light fades away and there is now an entrance to the temple
in its place.
We see Ganondorf still puzzled.
THIEF #9 ( O. S. )
I FOUND IT! I FOUND THE WAY IN!
Everyone hears thief #9 and runs up to join him at the entrance.
GANON
Good work, lets go.
Led by Ganon, the thieves follow him into the temple one by one.
CUT TO:
4 INT. TEMPLE CORRIDOR / CIRCULAR ROOM / TRIFORCE CHAMBER - NIGHT
As the gang of thieves walks through the dark corridor, Ganon
instructs someone to light a torch.
GANON
Someone light a torch.
Thief #8 passes a torch and picks it up. As soon as he picks
up the torch, it lights up on its own. He is shocked at first,
but then takes it as an everyday occurrence.
THIEF #8
Torch lit.
He hands the torch to the man in front of him and they all pass
the torch up to Ganon in the front.
5After walking down the long corridor, they come upon a CIRCULAR
ROOM with 7 DOORWAYS. Ganon instructs each of them to take a
path and one of them to stay back with him.
GANON
One of these paths should lead to the triforce.
THIEF #1
Well then, lets not keep it waiting.
Thief #1 walks through his dark corridor ( second doorway from
the left ) until we can no longer see him.
THIEF #2
What's taking him so long? He probably found it and keepin' it
for himself. Why that double crossing...
Thief #2 starts to walk towards Thief #1's doorway, but after
two steps, Ganon holds out his arm and stops him from going any
further.
THIEF #2
Hey, what's the big idea?
GANON
Stay here.
Moments after thief #1 disappears, a small vibration occurs and
grows stronger. Suddenly, a gust of fire blasts out the doorway
shooting the skeleton of thief #1 across the room and hitting
the opposite end of the room. The thieves watch in horror. Ganon
is very surprised about the trap and is nervous about the others
that await the thieves, but he is still determined to find the
triforce. Ganon looks at the thieves and notices that they keep
starring at their dead friend.
GANON
What are you doing? KEEP MOVING! You don't want him to die for
nothing do you.
The thieves look up at Ganon.
GANON
When we find the triforce we'll bring him back, but until then,
keep going.
Thief #8 turns around and looks at his doorway ( the middle of
the seven doorways ) and down the dark corridor. He then bends
down and picks up a rock. He throws it down the dark corridor
and then jumps to the side of the doorway to get out of the way
of any danger that might attack him.
THIEF #4
What are you doing?
THIEF #8
Trying to stay alive.
He peeks his head in the doorway to look around then steps in
the doorway. He turns around to the others.
THIEF #8
I think this is it.
He turns back and looks into the dark corridor and notices a
tiny shining object in the distance. He thinks it is getting
bigger but it is actually coming closer to him. Suddenly, his
eyes fill the FRAME and widen with fear. He is shot back out
of the corridor by four foot spears with razor sharp metal blades
darting into him. With in a split second he is covered with several
spear and on the floor dead.
The thieves at the remaining five paths take a few steps back
from their corridors. Ganon grows more enraged. The thieves are
now more frightened about what might happen to them.
GANON
CONTINUE! DON'T LET THE FATE OF THESE TWO FOOLS STOP YOU! THINK
OF THE POWER THAT AWAITS YOU!
The other five thieves run into their corridors with greedy looks
on their faces and absolute power on their minds. A moment later,
we here the sound of a loud crash. Two walls had slammed together.
The second sound we here is the sound of growling animals which
sound like lions and tigers and the screaming of the thief. Following
that is the sound of hundreds of darts flying through the air.
As Ganon and thief #2 wait for a fourth sound, a small vibration
occurs again. As it grows stronger, we hear the yelling of thief
#9. Ganon and thief #2 back up into the corridor they came from.
Water suddenly blasts out from the second doorway from the right
carrying Thief #9. The wave of water smashes the thief into the
wall on the opposite side of its path. Thief #9 is impaled in
the wall.
Ganon and thief #2 step back into the circular room and observe
the water on the floor and the thief in the wall. Thief #2 turns
his head to his impaled friend.
THIEF #2
Surfs up.
Ganon and thief #2 look at each other, then back at the room.
Thief #7 comes running out the third doorway to the right.
THIEF #7
I think I found the way.
Thief #7 looks down at the puddle on the floor, then at the impaled
man. Then he turns his head to Ganon and Thief #2.
THIEF #7
Did I miss something?
6Ganon and the two remaining thieves reach the end of the safe
corridor. In front of them is a wall with many designs and colors.
Ganon sees a red triangle design on the wall and pushes it in.
The red triangle goes into the wall about 3 inches. Blue circles,
about 1 inch in diameter, that form a circle around the triangle
begin to light up. Soon, the whole area inside the lighted circle
lights up with a bright blue color. After a few seconds, the
light slowly disappears and a round entrance takes its place.
The two thieves enter first and Ganon follows them.
7As Ganon enters the room through the hole, we PULL BACK and
see thief #2 and thief #7 standing about 3 feet away from each
other with a dumb found look on their faces. Their bodies and
faces are also tinted with a red glow. Ganon walks up and stands
behind them.
THIEF #2 (whispering voice)
Amazing.
We see the triforce of power floating above its stand in the
center of the room. The stand is on a stone platform which is
in the shape of an octagon and 3 stairs high all around. Then
we see the three men starring at the red glow.
THIEF #7
Its incredible.
GANON
Well guys, I have to admit, I didn't think you'd find it. Now
that I have it...
Ganon holds up a dagger in each hand and then stabs both men
in the back.
GANON
...your services are no longer needed.
The two thieves fall to their knees then on the ground, each
with a dagger in their back. Ganon walks past the two men towards
the camera until he FILLS FRAME. Ganon walks up the 3 stairs
to the triforce and grasps it with both hands and removes it
from its floating position.
GANON
At last, I have you. I am your owner. Give me your power.
Ganon stretches his arms out and holds up the triforce.
GANON
GIVE ME YOUR POWERRRRRRRRRRRR!
The triforce begins to brighten and red, wavy streams of light
begin to flow from the center of the triforce. The streams of
light begin to circle around Ganon while others flow into his
body. As more and more streams flow in and around Ganon, the
lights get brighter and brighter until the ENTIRE FRAME is covered
by a white light.
The white light quickly cuts to darkness. We start to hear a
faint laugh and as it grows, two red eyes open up with the look
of evil. The laugh grows more stronger and more maniacal.
We cut to the next scene with a blinding FLASH.
CUT TO:
8 INT. HYRULE CASTLE - DAY
We see a YOUNG SQUIRE, about 14 years old, running through the
castle rooms and corridors in a panic. As he runs through the
castle, he stops to ask a girl, placing flowers by the window,
if she's seen the GENERAL.
YOUNG SQUIRE ( out of breath )
Have you seen the general?
FLOWERGIRL #1
No, I'm sorry.
He runs to another person placing flowers by a window.
YOUNG SQUIRE
Do you know where the general is?
FLOWERGIRL #2
I haven't seen him all morning.
The young squire runs down the corridor yelling.
YOUNG SQUIRE ( yelling )
WHERE'S THE GENERAL!?
A door opens up and an unsuited knight, who looks to be in his
forties, runs out of the room and into the hall to see what all
the commotion is about. He stops the squire in his tracks.
KNIGHT
What are you screaming about?
YOUNG SQUIRE
I need to see the general. Do you know where he is?
KNIGHT
Yeah, he's upstairs in his chambers. Why?
The young squire dashes away from the knight and continues running
down the corridor and turns the corner.
CUT TO:
9 INT. GENERAL'S CHAMBER - DAY
We see the general, a man in his fifties, sitting at a desk and
writing in a journal with a feather pen. The door quickly slams
open behind him and we see the YOUNG SQUIRE. The general turns
around quickly and gets out of his chair.
YOUNG SQUIRE
GENERAL!
GENERAL
What's wrong!?
YOUNG SQUIRE
An army is approaching the castle!
The general turns around and closes his journal, then he mumbles
to himself with a strict look on his face.
GENERAL
Ganondorf.
CUT TO:
10 INT. HYRULE CASTLE CORRIDOR - DAY
The general and the young squire come around the corner at a
fast pace and walk towards the camera. The camera moves back
with them as they walk down the hall.
GENERAL
I knew this day was coming. I just didn't think it would come
this quickly. I want you to inform every lieutenant that an army
is coming and tell them to get their troops suited up for battle.
YOUNG SQUIRE
Yes Sir!
The young squire runs ahead of the general, and off the FRAME,
to spread the word. The general continues walking down the hall
and yells for one of his men.
GENERAL
BASKIN!
A door opens up and out comes an unsuited knight who appears
to be in his thirties. He joins up with the general and walks
down the hall with him.
BASKIN
Yes Sir?
GENERAL
Inform the king that Ganondorf's army is approaching the castle!
We can't attack without his consent! GO! HURRY!
BASKIN
Yes Sir!
CUT TO:
11 INT. OUTSIDE THE WIZARD'S CHAMBER - DAY
We see the KING, who is in his thirties, walking down a hall
and approaching two doors that are guarded by two guards. As
he walks towards them, the two guards pull the doors open. The
king continues into the large room where he meets up with his
CHANCELLOR who is a man also in his thirties.
KING
Have the Seven Wise Men arrived yet?
CHANCELLOR
Yes your majesty. They've already begun making the seal.
KING
Ganondorf's forces are on their way here. See that the Seven
Men are not disturbed.
CHANCELLOR
Of course your highness.
The king turns around to leave the room when the chancellor starts
to speak again.
CHANCELLOR
What if Ganondorf's forces get to the castle before the seal
in finished?
KING
I've already sent out the Knights of Hyrule to slow down the
army's advancement. Hopefully, they should buy us the time we
need.
CUT TO:
12 EXT. BATTLEFIELD - DAY
We see the knights and archers about a quarter of a mile away
from the castle. The knights are all suited up in armor and armed
with swords, spears, and axes while the archers load their first
arrow.
There are THOUSANDS OF TROOPS on the battlefield, preparing for
the danger that draws closer.
Suddenly, over the horizon, THOUSANDS OF STAFLOS KNIGHTS with
boots, helmets, gloves, swords, and shields race towards the
knights. Mixed in with the skeletons are wild beasts on four
legs with a pair of large horns on their heads and bright red
eyes. They have long teeth, a bulky body in the front, and thinner
towards the back.
As the Knights of Hyrule grip their weapons, the general shouts
out to them.
GENERAL
FOR HYRULE!
KNIGHTS OF HYRULE
FOR HYRULE!
The knights run out passed the general and the archers shoot
their arrows. The knights begin fighting Ganondorf's army. As
every minute passes, hundreds of knights are being killed. Many
of the skeletons are destroyed and fall to the ground, but what
is already dead cannot be killed. Staflos that are struck to
the ground rise and reconstruct to continue fighting. Many of
the knights and archers are on the ground being ripped apart
by the wild and demonic beasts.
CUT TO:
13 INT. OUTSIDE THE WIZARD'S CHAMBER - DAY
The king approaches the chancellor a second time. We see the
chancellor standing by the wizard's chamber door with four guards.
KING
How much longer until the seal is finished?
CHANCELLOR
In a little while.
KING
That's not good enough, its gotta be done now!
The king walks towards the door.
CHANCELLOR
They need more time!
KING
We don't have anymore time! Its now or never!
CUT TO:
14 EXT. BATTLEFIELD - DAY
The knights continue to fight Ganondorf's forces as more and
more of the troops are being killed. The knights are slashing
away at the skeletons and beasts but its just not good enough.
CUT TO:
15 INT. WIZARD'S CHAMBER - DAY
The door of the chamber slams open and in walks the king followed
by the chancellor and the four guards. As they enter the room,
we hear the Seven Wise Men speaking in the ancient Hylian language.
We see them standing in a circle, holding out their wooden staffs
in front of them. In the center of their staffs is a black hole.
Inside the black hole, we see an image of the red triforce spinning
slowly in different directions.
KING
You have to finish it now! What ever you've done so far will
just have to do!
The Seven Wise Men continue to chant.
KING
ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME! YOU'RE OUT OF TIME! THE KNIGHTS OF HYRULE
ARE BEING DESTROYED AND SOON WE'LL BE NEXT!
The Seven Wise Men do not stop.
KING
AS KING OF HYRULE I ORDER YOU, FINISH THE SEAL NOW!
The Seven Wise Men chant a few more words and as they do, the
black hole becomes smaller and smaller until it disappears, with
the image of the red triforce inside it, completely. The king
then leaves the room.
CUT TO:
16 EXT. BATTLEFIELD - DAY
The hundreds of skeletons remaining unharmed collapse and the
wild beasts drop to the ground. The few hundred knights remaining
are shocked at the fall of their enemy. Many men drop to their
knees and cry while others check to see if their fallen troops
are injured and not dead.
Thousands of knights lay on the ground dead along with skeletons
that are either shattered or in one piece. Some of the wild beasts
died while on top of a knight.
CUT TO:
17 EXT. FRONT BALCONY OF THE CASTLE - DAY
The king walks out onto the balcony to take view on the aftermath
of the hour of chaos. He sees men injured and limping while others
are crawling on their hands and knees. The king is horrified
at the sight and his eyes begin to water up.
The chancellor walks out onto the balcony and stands by the king's
right side.
CHANCELLOR
The seals power wasn't at it's full, but the wise men managed
to imprison Ganondorf in the Dark Realm. They said there's a
chance it may be broken, but if Ganondorf doesn't know that its
weak, he will be in there longer.
KING
How long can he be imprisoned?
CHANCELLOR
Since Ganondorf has the triforce of power with him, its unpredictable.
KING
So many men lost their lives today. If only we had known sooner.
CHANCELLOR
I also received reports that some of the villages were attacked.
The king drops his elbows onto the ledge and buries his head
in his arms with a disappointed sound.
CHANCELLOR
There's no way we could have known Ganondorf would attack this
quickly. At least the knights didn't die for nothing. They fought
bravely and courageously. They won the battle for Hyrule.
The king picks his head up and looks out on to the carnage.
KING
This was no battle.....this was a war.
The king turns around and walks back into the castle. The chancellor
watches the king leave and then turns his head to view the fallen
troops. He puts his head down, then turns around and walks back
into the castle.
We view the troops one more time, then we fade to black.
FADE TO BLACK
20 YEARS LATER
