Nintendo finally confirms the official color for their next-generation systems.

The official color for the NINTENDO GAMECUBE  is  PURPLE.  Other colors may be available at launch, however the NINTENDO GAMECUBE will be advertised and mainly remembered as purple (or Indigo, or violet, whatever the name you want to call it) 

The GAMEBOY ADVANCE will launch in three different colors, and to match the GAMECUBE official color one of them will obviously be purple (or Indigo, violet or whatever you want to call it) as well:

We are very happy about this decission. It is good to see how Nintendo is making things different than the competiton. At last a gaming company decides to use other color than Black or white like the rest. ORIGINALITY is the key.

There has always been black and white consoles, tons of them... but now there?s a purple one, and that makes the difference. 
Black, for instance, is sad and uninspired color. It?s a sign of lack of creativity.  Purple is the way to go, we have always known that, that?s why this site has it as the main color and not black for instance... wack!

Congratulations Nintendo for choosing our favourite color.  Purple is, as we have learned through all these years,  a sign of complete success and popularity... : )
